Rounding sensibly

Round so that an answer matches the least number of significant figures in the information provided. Money should be rounded to dollars and cents.

ONLY round at the end of multi step calculation problems to avoid rounding errors.

Practice of BEDMAS and substitution into formula then rounding the answer appropriately.

Establishing the range of possible original values, given the result after rounding.

Estimating answers by rounding to 1 or 2 sf. then calculating a solution.
